Hagley’s birthday party package includes:
• All day access to Hagley for all guests

• Opportunity to add an extra ½ hour to your Wheelwright Shop use (additional fee applies)

Outdoor Activities
- 19th-century games
Play with popular toys of the 1800s like ball and cup, Jacob’s ladder, and tops - Bucket Brigade
Relay game trying to put out a “house fire” with buckets of water. - Powderman
Learn how black powder was made, finished with firing off a charge of powder. - Parachute Play
Make waves and toss balls in the air with a giant rainbow parachute.
Indoor Activities
- Cookie Baking (AM only)
Bake cookies in a real cast iron stove. - Ice Cream Making (May-August)
Hand-crank a tasty summer treat. - Gee haws
Make a popular wooden propeller toy using hand tools - Waterwheels
Build your own plastic waterwheel and use it to operate a machine - Paper crafts
Make your own ball and cup toy, fan, and thaumatrope (optical illusion toy) - Marble Runs
Construct a peg board path for a marble to roll through - Soaring Satellites
Test different materials to see what will float in a wind tunnel
Package pricing:
$245 for members, for up to 20 children, 5 adults
$325 for non-members, for up to 20 children, 5 adults
Additional adults are welcome at general admission rates.
Add-ons:
$10 for each additional child over twenty, or each adult over five
$20 for additional ½ hour use of Wheelwright Shop
Scheduling
Birthday parties may be scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year from 10am-1pm or 1:30-4:30pm, depending on availability.
