Collection abstract: The Ferracute Machine Company of Bridgeton, New Jersey was a press and die business founded by Oberlin Smith (1840-1926) in 1863. In the 1880s Ferracute began supplying electric power companies with presses and in 1911 it began a long association with the Ford Motor Company. The archive includes business correspondence, Board of Directors meeting minutes, press records (on microfilm), advertising materials, and photographs.
