Collection Abstract: The Lake Mohonk Mountain House was a noted summer resort hotel located on Lake Mohonk in the Shawangunk Mountains of Ulster County, northwest of New York City. The records consist of a data file, 1915-1930, that contains tear sheets from the trade press, advertisements, trade literature, trade catalogs and other publications collected in the course of planning and executing new projects at the hotel, maintaining the building and grounds, and purchasing new furnishings and equipment. It is especially valuable as a source of information on domestic artifacts of the 1910s and 1920s.
