Collection abstract: The Pew family's origins in America can be traced to John Pew who immigrated to the United States from Scotland in 1795. His son Joseph Newton Pew founded the Sun Oil Company (now Sunoco) in 1886. This collection consists of family, genealogical, and personal papers.
