Collection abstract: The Chamber of Commerce of the United States was organized in 1912 to represent the interests of the business community in Washington, D.C. Within a decade it had become the largest of the nation's national trade associations. The records include proceedings of the annual membership meetings and national council meetings, board of directors' minutes, and a comprehensive pamphlet file.
