Collection Abstract: Frances Elizabeth Johnson (1832-1908) married Salem Howe Wales on February 12, 1851. They had two children, including a son, Edward, who was the father of Ruth Wales du Pont (Mrs. Henry Francis du Pont). Collection contains invoices, correspondence to family and friends, photographs, books, social forms, deeds, and a poem.
