Event photographs
Victor Dallin first shot aerial photographs of local events as a pilot for the Aero Service Company in the early 1920s. When he started his own business he continued to shoot events in and around Philadelphia. The Dallin collection includes aerial images of sporting events, fairs, and a number of images of air shows and races. Below are a few samples of the Dallin Company's event photos.

Delaware State Fair, 1925
The Wilmington Fairgrounds in Elsmere, just outside of Wilmington, was the site of the fair from 1918 to 1925. The oval track hosted both horse and automobile racing. The grandstand was demolished in 1941.
