Reproduction of Library Materials
Hagley Library materials can be photocopied, photographed, and scanned as long it will not damage the items. Permission to reproduce the collection, therefore, is offered at the discretion of staff. When reproduction is permitted, reproduced items must be documented using Hagley's permission to reproduce form.

Individuals or law firms engaging in legal research should contact Library staff for copying fees and access requirements.
Photocopies
Self-Service:
$.25 per page
$.50 per page from microfilm
Photocopies made by staff:
$20 service fee plus $.50 per page for fewer than 100 copies.
Copies can be mailed or delivered digitally as PDFs at no charge.

Contact the library to arrange payment 302-658-2400 ext 227 (Imprints) or 330 (Manuscripts & Archives). Please note that orders exceeding 100 pages will incur additional charges.
Self-Service Digital Photography
There is no charge for using handheld cameras in the reading room.
High Resolution Digital Images
Standard high resolution scans:
For images up to 11" x 17"
$10 per image for personal and research use only
(Includes students, Hagley volunteers, and visiting scholars)
$20 per image for scholarly publications and non-profit organizations
$50 per image for commercial and for-profit business (additional publication and broadcast fees apply)
Oversize high resolution scans:
For images between 11" x 17" and 17" x 23"
$20 per image for personal and research use only (or $20 plus $.50 a page for producing a PDF "article" from an oversize bound volume)

$40 per image for scholarly publications and non-profit organizations
$100 per image for commercial and for-profit business (additional publication and broadcast fees apply)
Extra-oversize scans:
For images larger than 17" x 23"
Fees are determined on a case-by-case basis, based on the dimensions of the original image. For a quote on extra-oversize, please contact Ask Hagley or 302-655-2400 ext. 232.
Delivery, shipping, and handling:
Free online delivery (via e-mail or ftp)
$10 handling fee for images shipped on CD or DVD ($20 for international shipment)
Digital images are delivered as high resolution JPEGs or TIFFs. If you have a preference, please let us know.
All purchases of digital images are final upon delivery.
Use fees for publication:
There is an additional $100 use fee per image for commercial and for-profit publications, broadcasts, and websites. Publication fees for all others is included in the per image cost. Download a copy of our permission for publication form.
Pay for high resolution digital images and fees using our Secure Online Payment Center:
Images being purchased for personal/research use, scholarly publication, or non-profit organization.
