Are you enthusiastic about inspiring a love of learning among school-aged children? Hagley Museum is seeking energetic individuals who enjoy sharing tales and facilitating hands-on activities bringing 19th century industrial history and technology to life as members of our school programs guide team.
Successful candidates have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are comfortable managing and engaging groups of up to 12 school children at a time. A flexible spirit and positive attitude are essential.

• The position is part-time, averaging 10 - 12 hours per week, on weekdays and weekends. Most shifts are October through June with opportunities for cross-training and additional shifts over the summer months.
• $14.28 per hour
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Assignments take place in a combination of Indoor and outdoor settings and involve standing and walking on uneven terrain. Some assignments require wearing outfits suggestive of mid-19th century styles. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills including ability to handle groups of visitors efficiently and politely; to speak clearly and pleasantly, and to convey information accurately and confidently.
