Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved ones at Victorine’s Valentine’s Day, a sweet family event that has something for everyone to enjoy.

Victorine’s Valentine’s Day honors the life and legacy of Victorine du Pont Bauduy, daughter of E.I. du Pont, the founder of the Du Pont powder yards at Hagley. Victorine taught and served as superintendent at the Brandywine Manufacturers’ Sunday School, educating the children of Du Pont company workers.

In addition to visiting the museum, you can:
•    make a Valentine’s Day card in the Victorian style
•    design your own candy bar wrapper
•    get creative with sweet toppings at the hot cocoa bar
•    meet “Victorine” and learn some about her life
•    try your hand using a quill pen to write valentine verses, and more!

Activities are included with regular admission and free for Hagley members.  Use the Hagley Entrance at 298 Buck Road, just off Route 100.
