Hagley Museum and Library provides access to items in our collections for educational and research purposes. Access is granted in accordance with the terms of the Deed of Gift or Deposit Agreement and restrictions may apply, particularly for non-academic uses. Patrons involved in research for current or potential litigation must contact the library in advance to obtain permission to access.

Services for off-site researchers

Hagley staff offers limited research service for those who are unable to visit the library. This service is available for requests that require a minimal amount of research. We also offer a reproduction services for a fee. Hagley maintains a list of local researchers for hire if you require more comprehensive research. Please contact us via email at for more information.
