Golden Pheasants Game Dinner
Join the Golden Pheasants Committee for one of Hagley’s most exclusive events!
The Golden Pheasants Game Dinner features a cocktail reception, raffle and silent auction, and a behind-the-scenes look at Hagley Library’s collections.
The highlight of the evening is a five-course, gourmet dinner featuring exquisite game dishes with perfectly paired wines, followed by the signature Hagley Cannonball dessert. The Game Dinner is catered by the Wilmington Club.
During dinner, Library Coordinator Hannah Spring Pfeifer will present on this year’s theme: Hagley’s Raymond Loewy Collection.
Raymond Loewy (1893–1986) was a French-born American industrial designer whose iconic work in the middle decades of the 20th century includes designs for Exxon, Coca-Cola, Lucky Strike, Studebaker, and International Harvester, as well as the design of Air Force One during the Kennedy Administration.
NEW for 2026! During the cocktail reception, Game Dinner guests are invited to take 10-minute tours of behind-the-scenes Library areas to uncover the ways these unique collections further the study of business and technology in America.
Game Dinner tickets are $265 for Hagley members and $365 for nonmembers. Total capacity is limited to 100 guests. Guests must be 21 or over to attend.
Proceeds from the Golden Pheasants Game Dinner support Hagley Museum and Library in fulfilling its mission “to inspire all people to be innovative in their own lives through investigation and exploration of our historical collections, original DuPont powder yards, and online resources.”
Invitations will be emailed in mid-December.
Dress for the Game Dinner is cocktail attire.
The event is held in the Soda House at Hagley Museum and Library. Use 298 Buck Road, Wilmington, DE, for GPS directions, then follow signs to the Soda House.
Inclement weather date is Sunday, February 1, 2026.
