Hours & Tickets

Before purchasing tickets, please check Hagley's home page for announcements of closures or changes in hours.

Hagley is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Sunday, September 19 (Hagley Car Show); Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving); and Saturday, December 25 (Christmas).

Tickets purchased online (discounted from in-person purchases):
$14 Adults, $10 Seniors and Students, $5 Children 6-14, Free for Hagley Members and children under 6.

Tickets purchased in person at Hagley:
$15 Adults, $11 Seniors and Students, $6 Children 6-14, Free for Hagley Members and children under 6.

Tickets may be purchased at the Hagley Visitor Center, where you can also get a sneak peek at our upcoming exhibit Nation of Inventors.

Please note that pets are not permitted at Hagley. Leashed canine companions are welcome on the last Bike & Hike & Brews days of the month, "Dog Days of Summer." 

ACCESS Discount: Present your Delaware EBT Card or Art-Reach ACCESS Card and receive admission or tickets for up to four people, at $2 each. Visitors must present their Delaware EBT Card or Art-Reach ACCESS Card along with a photo ID to receive the discount. Not valid on special events, exhibitions, or with any other offers or group rate. The ACCESS program is a region-wide initiative led by Art-Reach. Easy Does It! exhibition open weekdays 12 to 3 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through September 5, 2021.

Visit Eleutherian Mills Residence (first floor only) and the E. I. du Pont Garden

The Hagley Museum Store is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.



Powder Yard Buses leave from the Visitor Center every half hour at 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Powder Yard buses provide easy access to exhibits and demonstrations throughout the Lower Property at Hagley including the Machine Shop, the gun powder roll mills, the steam engine, and more.  This route is also open to pedestrian traffic.

Buses to the Upper Property (Eleutherian Mills Residence and E. I. du Pont Garden)
Buses are required to access the Upper Property—pedestrian traffic to the Upper Property is only allowed during Bike & Hike & Brews. 
WEEKDAYS - noon to 4 p.m. (last drop off at 3:30 p.m.)
WEEKENDS -  10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last drop off at 3 p.m.). 


Don't forget your mask! 
• All visitors (ages 2 and up) must wear a mask when riding the bus.
• it is recommended that unvaccinated visitors wear a face covering indoors.
