Featured Events
Featured events at Hagley Museum change year-round and are a mix of annual traditions and new activities that engage the environment and history that surrounds us. Keep an eye out for our ever-changing events schedule and be sure to contact us if you have particular questions, suggestions, or feedback!
Family Programs
Throughout the year Hagley offers a variety of programs for people of all ages. We believe that a passion for learning begins at a very young age so create programs for families that will engage and inspire throughout a lifetime. We put particular emphasis on offering learning experiences that families can have together to make the most of the precious time they have as a group.
Adult Programs
Hagley's Adult Programs include academic events (Author Talks, Research Seminars, and Conferences) and programming intended for older visitors (Walking Tours, Hagley After Hours, etc.).
Walking Tours
Explore topics hands-on and in depth while enjoying the Brandywine's most beautiful mile! The tours explore gunpowder production, water power, geology, life in an industrial village, Hagley's gardens, and black powder explosions. Walking tours are included with admission. Reservations are requested at (302) 658-2400, ext. 261.
Science Saturdays
Visitors of all ages are invited to discover solutions to science and engineering challenges. Science Saturdays are drop-in activities, feel free to stop by at any time during the event hours.
Member Events
Member events are programs offered exclusively or primarily to Hagley members and their guests. Visit the SUPPORT HAGLEY section of the website to find out more about the benefits of Hagley membership.
