Question: Why did the du Pont family build their black powder business in Wilmington, Delaware?

In our home, the kids’ bedrooms are on the second floor. None of these rooms have a porch or roof below their windows.

We have spent the summer at Hagley continuing to process films, still images, and paper from the Cinecraft collection.

As a PhD student in the University of Delaware Hagley graduate program who researches American capitalism, I have found the world-class collections held by the Hagley Library an invaluable resource.

It does not seem possible that the NAM project is rapidly coming to close; just a couple more months and it will be complete. Now it is wrapping up all the loose ends and items that cannot be finished until the end.
