DuPont Color: "Harnessing the Rainbow"

This month's featured motion picture comes from the DuPont Company Dyestuffs Division and highlights the work of company chemists in creating vibrant and standardized colors for the garment industry. The 1947 film titled "Harnessing the Rainbow" was produced for a general audience and includes scenes in homes, restaurants, and department stores to demonstrate the importance of durable colors. The film also shows research chemists and production facility workers at DuPont's Chambers Works in New Jersey.
