Workers’ Garden planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and making the garden usable for our visitors, other volunteers, school groups, summer groups, and more! Schedule open and flexible 7 days a week.
Assist staff in making floral arrangements once a week.
Wreaths and Greens making in November for Holiday decorations
Groups arrange with the Volunteer Manager for a group volunteer opportunity at Hagley. It may be outdoor gardening, helping with a special event, or something still in development.
The Handwork group makes items from donated materials, sells at several events and 100% of proceeds go to Scholarship funds for school trips to Hagley for those who can’t afford it.
Help make and decorate the fresh wreaths and greens for the holiday season in November.

Oral History projects
Library collections – assist with cataloging, processing, shelf reading, shelving, etc. in the Published Collections, Manuscript and Archives, or Audio Visual Digital Media areas.
Objects collection – assist with object restoration and care, photo taking, photo processing, file and document processing
Assist with hands-on mechanical fixing or making of exhibits or items at Hagley
Work on a computer inputting information, complete mailing projects, assist with filing, copying, and a variety of office tasks. Examples include Education, Membership, Marketing and Volunteer Offices.
