It's #MakeUpMonday, and I've never looked so good. Though I do now have the voice of a woman oohing "Make-up! and "Yeahhh" in my head over and over again, so there's that too.
This advertisement from Avon Products was released in December 1976, a few years after a successful campaign by the company to recruit and market to upper and middle class black women. The initial campaign, which ran from 1966 to 1973, primarily involved purchasing advertising space in the pages of Ebony magazine.
