This January 1953 cover of Newport News features Patricia Brown, daughter of Bob Brown, a former employee of the E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company's Newport Plant in Newport, Delaware, recently relocated to the company's Repauno Works in Gibbstown, New Jersey.
Newport News was an employee newsletter edited and printed for the E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Company's employees in Newport. Issues were published on a monthly basis from 1942 until at least 1955. By 1974, publications were issued on a quarterly basis.
