Mondays might stink, but at least you can count on a new scent-sational Hagley Vault post waiting for you. This photograph from our collection of DuPont Company External Affairs Department photographs (Accession 2004.268) was taken at New York World's Fair, held in Flushing Meadows, Queens.


Text associated with the image reads "Out of the chemist's laboratory comes fragrance that never knew a flower. Here Miss Eileen Leonard compares manmade perfume with a true floral aroma at the DuPont 'Wonder World of Chemistry' exhibit at the World's Fair.
