Who can rent Hagley’s facilities?

Facility rental is available to corporate and non-profit groups as well as to individuals. Individual rentals for private parties are a benefit of membership at the patron level or above. For couples celebrating their ceremony and/or wedding reception at Hagley, a patron level membership is included in the rental rate.

Do you require a certificate of insurance?

A certificate of liability insurance is required for rental of Hagley’s facilities and is common amongst arts related organizations. You may contact your residential insurance agent for assistance or Hagley can provide you with a recommended insurance provider.

Do you have A/V capabilities?

Yes. Hagley is equipped with a speaker system and wireless microphones. We also have projectors and screens available for use. For more advanced A/V needs we have a number of vendors that we can put you in touch with.

What’s your maximum capacity/do you have a minimum number of guests?

Our maximum capacity depends largely on the type of event you are having. We do not have a minimum requirement. For more information on capacities visit the Spaces page.

Do you provide catering services?

Hagley does not provide catering. You may choose from one of Hagley’s preferred caterers who can provide delicious menu options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks! Contact the Hagley events office for a current list of preferred caterers.

Where will my guests park?

All of our buildings have plenty of free parking available.

How do I reserve a date?

Contact a member of the Hagley Special Events team using our Contact Form or call us directly at (302) 658-2400. To reserve a date we require a non-refundable deposit and a signed contract.

Do you have outdoor spaces available?

We offer a limited number of outdoor event rentals each year. Contact us for more details.

Do I have to pick from a specific list of vendors?

No. If you need help finding local vendors, we’re more than happy to supply you with a list of people we’ve worked successfully with in the past.
