Hagley Library is pleased to announce that our exhibit Just Text Me! Telecommunications and Computing History at Hagley is now available online.
Featuring more than 28 items from Hagley's collection, the exhibit traces over a century of communications and computing history - from the telegraph to email - and the technological innovations that transformed how we connect with the world.
Originally installed in Hagley Library's newly renovated lobby in 2024, Just Text Me! was our second exhibit in that space. The digital version makes these collection highlights accessible to a wider audience. Curated by Angela Schad, Head of Library Reference, it offers a compelling preview of Hagley's holdings on the history of communications.
