New Oral History Program Manager, Ben Spohn

Ben Spohn has joined Hagley Library as its oral history program manager after working as a contractor in the Hagley Center for the History of Business, Technology, and Society's oral history office. 

Ben Spohn profile pictureBen earned his M.A. in history at West Chester University and has been working at Hagley in some capacity since 2016. He indexed oral history interviews for the Brandywine Valley Oral History Project and helped to develop, write, and edit Hagley’s new oral history podcast, The Millrace. He also edits Stories from the StacksHagley’s podcast which features conversations with researchers of our collections.

Ben will be overseeing Hagley’s current oral history project on the cultivated mushroom industry and the oral history office’s future endeavors.
