Here’s wishing all of you who celebrate a happy Halloween weekend!

Black and white photograph of four young women in costumes, seated on a wooden table.

Here’s wishing all of you who celebrate a happy Halloween weekend! May you all have just the right amount of candy left over at the end of the night.

This costumed crew was photographed on November 17, 1920 by Charles Yessel (1877-1953) at the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company's South Philadelphia Works.

Yessel was the staff photographer for the Westinghouse’s South Philadelphia Works, once located in Essington and Lester, Pennsylvania. The Works manufactured gas and steam engines, turbines, and mechanical stokers for use in railway systems, fire service pumping stations, the shipping industry, and other large scale industrial purposes.
