Thanksgiving Weekend Family Programming
Bring your family and friends to enjoy the holidays at Hagley. While in the Visitor Center, visit Santa's Workshop (although Santa may not be home!) and view the entries of the gingerbread house competition. Visit Eleutherian Mills, the du Pont family home, and see it decorated for the holiday season. The exhibition “The Magic of Miniatures,” in Eleutherian Mills features a dollhouse filled with tiny teddy bears. Don’t forget to visit Workers’ Hill where you can sample ginger cookies in the Gibbons House and write with a quill pen in the Sunday School.
On Friday, November 23, the Hagley Handwork Group will hold a Black Friday sale in the Wheelwright Shop. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can browse their handmade items, which make perfect one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your shopping list. Proceeds benefit Hagley's Scholarship Fund.
