Get into the holiday spirit with Hagley's Annual Gingerbread House Contest!
The theme for 2025 is "Our Storied Past." Local amateur bakers are challenged to create a gingerbread house that expresses the theme and shows their creativity. See how the entrants use their imaginations to capture the spirit of the season.
Entries will be on display throughout the holiday season in the Hagley Barn, and can be viewed during Holidays at Hagley and Holiday Nights at Hagley.
Amazon gift cards and Hagley memberships are up for grabs for first place winners of each category. Don’t forget to snap a festive photo for your holiday cards! Entries will be on display from November 28, 2025, through January 1, 2026. Included with admission, free for Hagley Members.
Registration Deadline: Friday, November 21
Entry Drop-off: Sunday, November 23
Materials: House bases are available at the Hagley Visitor Center. Supporting structures are allowed, but everything visible must be edible. Avoid using coconut. Flaked almonds or white rice looks just as good.
Prizes: The prize in each of the categories is a $100 Amazon gift card and a Hagley membership.
Voting: Visitors are invited to vote for their favorite entry in each category. Voting will end Wednesday, December 24.
