Join Hagley’s Richard Templeton for a fascinating and moving discussion of his book Across the Creek: Black Powder Explosions on the Brandywine, exploring the lives of those who lost their lives in explosions during the Hagley powder yard’s 120 years of operation. Drawing on Hagley’s extensive archival records, Templeton shares the personal stories behind these tragedies and the families left behind.
The program will take place in the Library Copeland Room. Set your GPS to “298 Buck Rd, Wilmington, DE, 19807.” Once at Hagley, follow signs for the “Hagley Library.”
