DCAD Plein Air Drawing Marathon
This event is held at Hagley Museum and Library and hosted by the Delaware College of Art and Design
Inspired by the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture, which founded the Drawing Marathon 25+ years ago, this one-day drawing intensive is based on the belief that drawing is the basis of understanding one’s experience of the world. Today, drawing marathons are a worldwide phenomenon, spanning the U.S. and the globe. For some participants, it is an opportunity to immerse themselves in their preferred artistic practice, while for others, it is a fun, creative, and challenging way to spend a day focused on drawing.
Artists 16 years and older and of all levels of experience are invited to participate.
