Hagley Up Close LIVE! with Max Moeller
When you take a tour at Hagley, where does the information you hear from our guides and read in our publications originate? How does the Hagley staff know what they know? How are decisions made on what to collect to support the work of our Museum, our Library, and our Garden and Grounds? Join us for an intimate and informal gathering with coffee and light refreshments as we explore these and other questions with members of our staff.
On August 16, Max Moeller, Curator of Published Collections, will discuss our important library holdings related to the history of automobiles in the United States such as the Z. Taylor Vinson Collection of Transportation Ephemera as well as the John Margolies Collection of Travel Ephemera. The discussion will take place at the Hagley Barn using our 1928 DuPont Motors Model G Phaeton as the perfect backdrop!
This Hagley Up Close LIVE! will take place on the lower level of the Hagley Barn in the du Pont Car Exhibit. Tickets are $5 for Hagley members; $10 for non-members.
