Howl-O-Ween at Hagley
Halloween has gone to the dogs at Hagley for our first-ever Howl-O-Ween event on Sunday, October 31! Bring your leashed canine companion (with or without a costume) to enjoy Halloween-themed activities designed especially for our four-legged friends. Go ghost hunting down the Bark-or-Treat trail and grab some dog-friendly, chocolate-free treats along the way. Candy will also be available for human howlers.
A pet costume parade will take place at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., so get ready to strut your stuff!
Paws for People will be our special guest. Stop by and learn how you or your dog can become involved in pet therapy!
Burgers by Wildwich will have their truck on site with burgers and other items available for purchase.
Visitors should bring face masks to wear in any of Hagley’s indoor locations, including while riding on buses. Read our latest safety policy here.
This event is weather-dependent, so be sure to check the homepage of our website for any updates before you head out. Please bring waste bags and plenty of water to keep your dog hydrated. Water stations will also be throughout the upper property.
Activities are included with admission and free for Hagley members. Enter Howl-O-Ween at Hagley through the Buck Road gate located at 298 Buck Road, Wilmington, DE 19807. The nearest intersection is Rt. 100 (Montchanin Road) and Buck Road.
If you want a double-dose of Halloween, don't miss Halloween at Hagley on October 30!
