Houndsfield Mill

Summary: Operating around the time of the Civil War, the Houndsfield Mill was most likely the third mill below the Brandywine Bridge on the south side of the Brandywine. In the late nineteenth century, the site was purchased by the city of Wilmington and became part of the site of the city's water supply system.
