Summary: Jonathan Zebley operated a shipyard in lower Brandywine Village in the mid-nineteenth century. The shipyard was located below Lea's Mills next to Ray's stave mill, close to the 16th St. Bridge. It later became a part of Thatcher's Shipyard.
